Appreciative Leadership: Enhancing Employee Management
The course’s approach to organizational change borrows practices from the context of organizational development as it is an invitation to a positive revolution in change. This course aims to produce leaders who are willing to engage with other members of their organization or community to create a better way of doing business or living, willing to learn and to change, true believers in the power of the positive, leaders that care about people, often describing the work of their organization or business in terms of helping people learn, grow and develop.
- Understand employee engagement in the organization;
- Identify the link between engagement and organization performance and outcome;
- Apply the strengths-based approach to employee engagement; and share individual commitments
- Design an engagement plan for the organization
The course will utilize lectures with presentations and interactive class discussion. Trainees will also be encouraged to brainstorm ideas during seat works/activities.
